The Role

At our Catnic branch in Caerphilly, we’ve got an opening for a Customer Service Representative to join the team where you will provide a comprehensive Inside Sales Service. You’ll act as an key point of contact for all customers, both internal and external, providing direct liaison and a focal point of contact for all operational matters relating to customers.  


Part of the Customer Service Representative’s role will include;

  • Creation of sales orders and the process of prompt and accurate delivery.
  • Provision of prompt quotations from customer’s requirements consistent with agreed service criteria for such customers, in order to maximise conversion rates.
  • Effective liaison between operations and logistics to ensure orders are executed in accordance with commitments and/or advise customers of expected failure to meet those commitments, agreeing alternative arrangements in order that customer satisfaction be maximised.
  • Prompt recording and resolution of customer complaints, where necessary enlisting the support of the Customer services Team Leader and other relevant managers, to maximise customer retention.
  • Store and retrieve proof of deliveries, forwarding to customers as required
  • To constantly seek pro-active improvements to customer service
  • Ensure that own and team operations, including those undertaken on the Company's behalf by third party service providers, are conducted in manner which fully complies with our health and safety, quality, environmental and corporate policies.


The Candidate 

You’ll hold fantastic written and communicational skills with a strong educational background. The Customer Service Representative will be confident, with excellent attention to detail alongside a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Commercial experience with a background within Customer Service would be desirable.


The Customer Service Representative must be actively involved in their own personal development plans to maximise your performance in the role. You’ll be comfortable speaking with customers, able to focus on the task at hand and will enjoy working in a continuous improvement environment.
